It is that time of year when people are making last ditch holidays before the school runs start again in earnest. While the sun is still out over the Med, the kids won’t be on the beaches because they are all buying new school uniforms and shoes and people want to squeeze in one last booze fuelled nightmare before real life and adulthood takes over once more. We have all been in this situation though; your boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse or significant other wants to go abroad, you can’t, so they go with their friends.

To Magaluf. Now I love my girlfriend, and trust her deeply, but the thought of 10 days in Magaluf with two female friends of questionable morals, with non stop alcohol, way too much heat and way too much flesh on display from both sexes makes me a little uncomfortable. We will see how things play out, but fingers crossed I won’t need to lose my temper!
